Background

Originally established in March 1986 as Aftek Business Machines Private Limited, Aftek Limited (“Aftek India”) is an India-based software and services company which is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange. Aftek India provides enterprise business management products and solutions, focusing on embedded systems, enterprise and wireless applications, and enterprise business applications. The company’s products include computerized attendance monitoring system (CAMS), a smart card based attendance-monitoring solution, which enables companies to manage overtime, leave, and shift changes with a user interface; Depot Manager software designed primarily for road transport organizations, which facilitates centralized data management, optimum fleet scheduling, crew management, cashless operations, and MIS; Test Jig, which enables automated testing of hardware interfaces, and software features and functionality, including stress testing, regression testing, and load testing, as well as product verification and testing; and IntelliCompete, a tool for competitive analysis, which keeps track of competitors’ moves and their reflection in the media.

Aftek India offers its products in the areas of home automation framework, embedded software, wireless communication, enterprise application development, hardware development, and validation and verification services. Products and services currently are sold in the United States, Europe, Japan, and India. Aftek India employs approximately 325 individuals and achieved gross revenues of RS 390 crores (approximately US $80million).
